• Short Term - The average holding period (AHP) in the Swing FX program is 10 days ( Note: without the JPY this AHP goes down to 5 days). In expressing the qualitative overlay the managers will work to take some risk off the table as the position is in the money.
• Hybrid - The methodology is a mix of 100% technical indicators (price based) coupled with the managers unique qualitative overlay.
• Contrarian - The technical indicators are by nature looking for an intermediate trend exhaustion in the currency markets.
• Type of Currencies - The most liquid pairs, the majors and the crosses in between.
• Access - At the moment the Swing FX program is available exclusively through a fully transparent and liquid set up of managed accounts either through your broker/bank of choice or through Deutsche Bank's Db Select platform and Alphametrix platform.
